Access platforms are an ideal solution for increasing worksite productivity and ensure that people and materials can safely reach their work areas conforming to stringent Health and Safety regulations. Heron seek to provide the highest standards in work at height requirements. As an approved SafeContractor, we work closely with local authorities across the South East as well as electrical and roofing contractors, tree surgeons, commercial cleaners and construction companies.
Our fleet is under constant review and is replaced and upgraded regularly. Our extensive range of equipment includes 6m scissor lifts through to truck mounted 25m articulated boom lifts all sourced from reputable industry manufacturers including Genie, Haulotte, JLG, Nifty Lift and Oil & Steel UK, placing us in an excellent position to service all of our clients access needs.
We have our own dedicated and qualified service team who are able to carry out regular LOLER inspections, routine services and repairs on site if necessary.
Our access equipment can be hired and delivered 365 days a year including delivery to airside locations at Gatwick and Heathrow. Telematics is a requirement for companies who hold a ground operations licence at both Gatwick and Heathrow and Heron is pleased to confirm that our fleet is fully compliant with this requirement.
Our truck mounted access platforms offer a cost-effective solution and differ from the self-propelled fleet as the booms are considerably higher.
Working heights range from 10m to 25m and can be hired with our own IPAF trained operatives or as self-drive.
